“…be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and to try to love the questions themselves like locked rooms and like books that are written in a very foreign tongue. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps you will then gradually, without noticing it, live along some distant day into the answer.”

Rainer Maria Rilke

I seek to tell vulnerable stories...ask unanswerable questions…in my work. The process of stitching and knitting seeks answers, only revealing more questions. Repetitive stitches move from purposeful creation to an absurd non-functionality.

I am intrigued by fragments, the cast-off, uncertainties, and the made-up bits that construct our lives.

My fingers bear the callouses of a constant needle and thread. #obsessed

I live and work in Northern Virginia.
